Welcome
Welcome to my 3rd and 4th grade classroom! My name is Maria Thompson, and this is my 3rd year teaching math and science at Seashore Learning Center. I've always loved school, and continued to pursue my education after high school. After graduating from the University of Texas-Austin with my bachelor’s degree in Applied Learning and Development, I earned by master’s degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. When I am not at school, my three children keep me busy. We love to play at the beach, read books, and watch movies.

Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) Test Dates for 2007-08
- 4th grade writing and 3rd grade reading: March 5 (new date)
- 3rd and 4th grade math: April 29
- 4th grade reading: April 30
